ACON says these attitudes can lead to harm in communities, particularly for older LGBTQ+ people. The organisation is looking for people who are LGBTQ+ and over the age of 50, or people who have a person/people in their life who are LGBTQ+ and over 50. You’ll find more information and a link to sign up below.

Older artists invited to help challenge attitudes
“Pave the Way” is a national campaign in support of, and in solidarity with, older LGBTQ+ community members. The project is being run by ACON, (formerly the Aids Council of NSW) reports the Say It Out Loud website, and calls for artists to contribute their work to help challenge attitudes and social conditions such as ageism, ablism, and heteronormativity.
