OPAN has partnered with researchers/ consultants Perspicacious, in collaboration with a group of experts, on a consultation report that explores how supported decision-making can promote the human rights of people living with dementia.
The report concluded that legislative reform is ‘only a small part of the society-wide reform that needs to occur’ to ensure older people get the support they need to make their own decisions.
