The Selfie with a Senior Award is a new way for every Territorian to be part of the prestigious Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award.
Selfie with a Senior coincides with the Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award, which recognises and celebrates the achievements and contributions of senior Territorians to our community.
This unique category invites everyone to submit a photograph featuring themselves and a senior, along with a statement of how the senior has inspired them. This senior could be a mentor, teacher, coach, or a person who has supported and inspired people. A person to look up to.

“Celebrating relationships, sharing words of wisdom, and having a giggle with a selfie photo-shoot made supporting this award a no-brainer for COTA NT and NT Seniors Card. We hope to see plenty of entries from super-seasoned selfie takers from Generations Y, Z Alpha and Beta!”
A prize of $1000 is available for the winning applicant with applications judged on the photograph and statement. The competition is open to individuals over the age of 16 on the application closing date.
Entries close on Friday 19 July 2024.
