Rotary Club of Katherine
We've been in Katherine since 1977. In the past few years, we have established the Katherine Men's Shed and the Katherine Rotary Computer Club.
We have a fully equipped training room that can be hired and a Rotary Park with activities for kids and adults including an 18 hole putt-putt, BBQ area, toilets, and undercover seating.
Over the years we have helped the Katherine Community in so many ways. This includes fundraising and establishment of the Katherine Computer Club, Road Safety Centre, Men’s Shed, Katherine Cancer Information Office, and renovating a training room at the Rotary Park.
We also host an annual AA meeting, organise Katherine Pride events, purchase and fit-out of an emergency trailer for St John's Ambulance, purchase wheelchairs for kids, and cater for the Katherine Show, Territory Day, Aeroclub annual event, WOW, Solar Challenge, Relay for Life, and the RAF Welcome Day. We’ve even made sure Santa comes to town for years!
