Canberra Multicultural Communities Forum (CMCF)
CMCF is an associate member of the Settlement Council of Australia and is a unified voice to promote the common interests and articulate the purpose and direction of ACT’s multicultural community.
Since December 2005 the CMCF has provided the following services for the ACT’s multicultural community:
community collaboration and consultation
engagement and participation in public debate
formulation of policies
representation to government
community education, conferences, seminars
Since its establishment CMCF has developed submissions, corporate documents, and media releases, including submissions to Changes to Racial Discrimination Act April 2014, Migration Health Unit Paper 2012, Response Citizenship May 2008 and many more.
