The Tasmanian Government has released a strategy document called Lifelong Respect: Tasmania’s Strategy to end the abuse of older people (Elder Abuse) 2023-2029. It was developed in consultation with the Statewide Elder Abuse Prevention Committee (SEAPAC) and stakeholders.
It is intended to form the foundation for the Government’s ongoing commitment to older Tasmanians’ right to be safe, respected, and live with dignity.
