In collaboration with Seniors Rights Victoria, NARI interviewed 24 older people about the interventions used to address elder abuse and the outcome of these interventions.
The most common advice participants would provide to other older people facing abuse was to contact Seniors Rights Victoria.
Advice to governments and service providers centred around the need for affordable accommodation for the older person and perpetrators, and affordable mental health and rehabilitation services.
