Service NSW has a COVID-19 check-in card available to people who don’t have smartphones or don’t wish to use them when visiting COVID Safe businesses, such as retail outlets. A staff member scans the card on entry and the information is used for NSW Health contract tracing purposes only.
This has the potential to make life for many seniors a lot easier when getting out and about. Although businesses are not obliged to accept COVID-19 check-in cards as they may not have a QR compatible device for example, we hope there will be an enthusiastic uptake.
