We know that dementia, and the impact that changes to behaviours can have on people living with dementia, their families, friends, and carers doesn’t stop just because it is a festive season.

Our teams will remain available to you 24/7 every day. That includes the ability to provide on the ground support, brokerage as required and support via phone and live chat. The ability to support you via tele-health is something that perhaps you don’t know a lot about, but it can be an effective way to get active support without interrupting the workflow on the ground.

Times when we might recommend telehealth as an option include where we have recently supported a person living with dementia, and there are no changes to the behaviour or if you have an outbreak in the care setting and would prefer not to have our team on site. But if you need us, we’re always here to help.

Lastly, a reminder this holiday season to look after yourselves whilst you are looking after others.
