LGBTQIA65+ Equality at Every Age Webinar
Julie McCrossin AM moderates a diverse panel of members from the Rainbow community as they explore the particular characteristics and vulnerabilities of older LGBTQIA+ people and talk about real life examples of elder abuse in their community and how they are planning to stay happy and healthy as they age.
Sponsored by Elder Abuse Action Australia (EAAA) and LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, this webinar seeks to explore the impact of elder abuse within the LGBTQIA+ communities and to also promote sources of information, resources and service providers that are accessible and friendly to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Join the discussion and ask our panel members to share the steps they are taking personally to protect themselves from abuse as they age and to offer hope, while raising awareness about the importance of self-protection as individuals and as a community.
