Delivering Digital Skills For Groups

Be Connected

Our ‘Delivering Digital Skills Sessions for Groups’ webinar will give you hints and tips to get started wth your Be Connected program. This webinar is designed for organisations who are about to start their digital literacy program, or those wishing to learn more about tried and tested methods. We will explore how to plan and deliver your first group sessions using a ‘blended learning’ approach. Blended learning combines people and digital, allowing your learners to get the benefit of understanding and practising a new skill while knowing they’ve got someone to turn to if they need help.

Please choose only one webinar to attend.

Elder Abuse - Your family and your home

Legal Aid NSW

In this webinar we speak with a senior solicitor and social worker from the Legal Aid NSW Elder Abuse Service about elder abuse that can occur in the family and home. It's not uncommon for older people to find themselves sharing their home with an adult child. To fit with the Seniors Festival 2021 theme, 'In our Nature', we will explore emerging legal themes and challenges, particularly when an older person is sharing their home with an adult child and how community and support workers can help.
