The event starts with a short presentation by a lawyer on behalf of the FNQLA about:
what a Will is
what happens if you die without a Will
what an Enduring Power of Attorney is
what elder abuse is
Lawyers volunteering their time then informally sit and speak with attendees, answering any questions that seniors or their family members may have about estate planning.
Lastly, a presentation will be delivered by the Cairns Community Legal Centre about scams and how to keep you safe.
Following this a free morning tea will be served by Cazalys.
